Cummins started developping small V engines in the 1950's to penetrate the light and medium duty markets. The V configuration helped with making the diesel engines shorter and lighter so they could compete with the gasoline motors dominating those markets. By the 1960's, V6 and V8 Cummins diesel engines were commercially introduced.
We carry a large assortment of new and remanufactured parts for V6-378, V8-504, V8-555, and V8-903 diesel engines.
